Philanthropic Focus

Alpha Gamma Delta’s philanthropic focus is Fighting Hunger. Food insecurity affects every race, age and community, including the communities where we are placed. That is why we want to be a part of the solution. Partnering with national and local organizations, we are able to make an impact on our communities. We are committed to contributing to the world’s work as our Purpose calls us to do. As a sisterhood, we work together to make a greater impact.

Our impact is enhanced through fundraising for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. They provide fighting hunger grants to various organizations that are doing their part in their local community to fight hunger. Campus Involvement

Alpha Gamma Delta is a dynamic force on campus at Eastern Kentucky University, actively engaging in leadership, philanthropy, and community service. Our members lead and participate in a range of campus activities, from student government and academic organizations to charity events and social initiatives. We are dedicated to making a positive impact and fostering a supportive community both within and beyond our organization. Alpha Gamma Delta is dedicated to combating hunger, a pressing issue that affects one in eight people in both the U.S. and Canada. Hunger is a universal challenge impacting all races, ages, and communities, including those where we operate. That’s why we are committed to being part of the solution. By collaborating with national and local organizations, we strive to make a meaningful impact in our communities. We proudly partner with Feeding America and Meals on Wheels, which allows us to raise awareness on a national scale while also supporting local agencies in the areas where our collegiate and alumnae chapters are based. Our efforts are further supported through fundraising for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which provides grants to various organizations dedicated to fighting hunger in their local areas.
